Balloon Catheter Wrapping System

The MSI FFS balloon catheter wrapping system is our complete manufacturing solution for pleating and folding angioplasty or stent delivery balloon catheters. The equipment is servo motor driven and controlled by a touch screen PC. The workstation technology incorporates advanced process controls and data acquisition capabilities, including barcode scanning and a light curtain feature.

Our FFS balloon catheter wrapping technology allows for multiple pleat head configurations on the same equipment base, increasing equipment capabilities and eliminating down time during equipment changeovers. PC controls collect process data, such as force applied to activation arms and diameter settings during pleating and folding.
