The MSI SC500/700 stent crimping equipment is intended for use in either a pilot production or in manufacturing of balloon expandable stents and stent graft products. MSI’s proprietary segmental compression mechanism improves stent profiles and stent uniformity without shear forces, which can damage the underlying substrate. This machine is suitable for processing bare metal, coated, or drug-eluting stent products.
The MSI SC100/200 and MSI SC150/250 stent crimping equipment quickly and precisely reduce the diameter of an expanded stent. This equipment applies the same proprietary segmental compression mechanism as our production equipment, only in a compact and easy-to-use benchtop model.
The SC100/200 models are intended for use as a pre-production, R & D, and low-volume crimping tool. It is hand activated with mechanical hard stops to control the final crimp diameter.
The SC150/250 models feature pneumatic activation for enhanced process control and repeatability.
