Balloon Catheter Fluting

Machine Solutions 200 series Fold/Form/Set (FFS) product family offers the perfect scalable machine from R & D to High-Volume Balloon Catheter Fluting (also known as Balloon Catheter Pleating & Folding or Balloon Catheter Wrapping).

Double production rates by processing balloon catheters in each head simultaneously. This production-ready unit is simple to use, easy to validate and runs MSI’s proprietary WavePleat™ technology. Each Wavepleat™ head is designed to customer-specific balloon dimensions to assure accurate and repeatable processing, providing the lowest possible folded balloon profiles. The FFS200i operates pneumatically and accepts head lengths up to 350mm and a variety of balloon catheter diameters. Compared to hand folding, the thermal properties of the MSI pleat and fold heads may also increase balloon refold characteristics along with more precise balloon catheter fluting.

The FFS200i operator-friendly Automatic Independent Activation (AIA), effectively empowers one operator the productivity of two. Adding it to your production line will reduce operation expense & manufacturing footprint while increasing production rates & throughput.
