Radial Force Testing Services

MSI provides radial force testing services on a contract basis. Our radial force testing equipment is designed to measure and record radial stiffness and strength, chronic outward force during expansion and radial reactive force during compression of interventional devices such as; balloon expandable stents, self-expanding stents, stent grafts, collagen plugs, embolic filters, vena cava filters, and other radial expanding devices. Test results can be used for regulatory submissions, competitive product testing and R&D device evaluation.

MSI offers contract testing services utilizing the RX550/650 equipment  at our test lab in Flagstaff, AZ and our partner facility Protomed Labs in Marseilles, France.  We offer two types of contract testing services: lab rental or contract testing. The lab rental option allows customers to book our test lab for an entire day to complete testing themselves with the support of our test engineering team. Contract testing is offered for customers who want to send their devices to be tested by our engineering team. All tests are completed according to instructions from a signed test protocol and a full testing report and raw data are provided in a CSV file for further analysis within your organization.
