Marker Band Positioning and Preswage tool

The MSI PSW500 utilizes our proprietary, segmental compression technology in a universal positioning and preswage tool. This tool positions and preswages a wide range of metal band materials and sizes. The PSW500 complements MSI’s SW155 and SW255 swaging machines as part of a complete and robust marker band swaging process.

The PSW500 features a band positioning feature to help operators accurately position marker bands on a product. The preswage head can process a range of diameters without a change of fixtures. Uniform compression of the marker band ensures optimal  swaging results. This preswaging process is upgradable to our automated machine platforms, allowing manufacturers to increase production volumes without redundant validation.
